ParticipantUrgent, please.
I have a staging site that I just pushed to depl0y to replace the production site. Both sites have BPS Pro and both sites had ARQ disabled, along with the plugin firewall.
The staging site has replaced the production site, great. But now when I edit the wp-config file on the production site to tell the site url it’s no longer using ‘staging4’ … the wp-config file gets replaced to use the staging4 url. Which means the production site redirects to the staging site.
I renamed the BPS Pro plugin folder. That didn’t work. I am in the process of deleting the bps-backup files but that’s not going well. It’s taking forever, and I’m guessing there’s a mechanism that prevents this.
How do I remove the staging4 aspects of the production site if BPS Pro is redirecting me so that I can’t uninstall BPS Pro on the production site to stop the redirect?
Thanks.

KeymasterThe AutoRestore|Quarantine database option setting must be set to “on” in one of your databases or maybe both – the old and the new database for your staging site. Use phpMyAdmin and do the steps below.
Open phpMyAdmin in your web host control panel.
Click on your database > click on the xx_options database table > click on Search at the top of phpMyAdmin.
For option_name type: bulletproof_security_options for the value and change the Operator to LIKE %…%
Look for this option setting: bulletproof_security_options_ARCM
Click the select checkbox next to this option setting and click Delete.After you have done these steps on each of your databases you can now manually modify your wp-config.php file.
Then login to each website and run the Setup Wizards.IMPORTANT!!! Don’t forget to check/change your DB connection information in your wp-config.php file or it will try to connect to the wrong database.
// ** Database settings - You can get this info from your web host ** // /** The name of the database for WordPress */ define( 'DB_NAME', 'database_name_here' ); /** Database username */ define( 'DB_USER', 'username_here' ); /** Database password */ define( 'DB_PASSWORD', 'password_here' ); /** Database hostname */ define( 'DB_HOST', 'localhost' ); /** Database charset to use in creating database tables. */ define( 'DB_CHARSET', 'utf8mb4' ); /** The database collate type. Don't change this if in doubt. */ define( 'DB_COLLATE', '' );
