    I dont understand about the following rules in plugins .htaccess file

    Allow from mydomain.com
    Allow from 80.11.41.192

    Why do u have to put allow rule for domain name and the server’s IP address?

    Your domain and IP address both need to be whitelisted for different technical reasons.  If you have one without the other than the Plugin Firewall will not work correctly.
