Hello, I awoke this morning to hundreds of messages in my email Autorestore off. My assistant updated all the websites last night in Mainwp, and autorestore somehow got turned off and did not turn back on. That happened a couple of times before but today it is for many, many websites.

When I log in to fix autorestore, I would also like to address this issue, The only change we have done in the sites is to add ASE, Wicked Alt text(AI API) and Ally the elementor ADA plugin to try and quickly address the accessibility  issues that are now becoming a big topic in webdesign.

Any ideas on why this is happening, usual memory in sites is 256. php 8+

    Thanks!! Carin

If AutoRestore|Quarantine is unable to backup/update all new WordPress files during a WP update then ARQ will turn itself off and send you email notifications. Since this issue occurred on several websites then the most likely cause for this issue is that there was API or host server latency occurring during the WP updates. If that is what occurred then there is nothing you would need to change/fix since this is not something that you would have any control over.

Run the Pre-Installation Wizard and Setup Wizard on each of the websites to resolve the issue.

I also just realized we also installed a plugin through MAinwp in bulk, which we did last week also when the problem first appeared

Yeah I guess that could have caused the issue, but my guess would be that would be a one-time issue. In any case, what is important is that ARQ prevented a major problem of new WP files being quarantined during the WP update by shutting ARQ off with the failsafe built into ARQ. So a minor inconvenience of having to manually run the Setup Wizards is pretty quick and simple to do vs restoring quarantined new WP files.
