ParticipantI have a question that may be stupid.
I have a file that is part of my theme that keeps getting quarantined. How do I tell BPS to ignore this file?
I’ve tried both the file name and the full path.
/****/******/public_html/wp-content/themes/themify-ultra/themify/.data/themify_settings_themify-ultra_7.8.6_7.7.8.php wp-content/themes/themify-ultra/themify/.data/themify_settings_themify-ultra_7.8.6_7.7.8.php themify-ultra themify_settings_themify-ultra_7.8.6_7.7.8.php
I only receive the error: is not a valid folder path. I didn’t find any information about this in the documentation.

KeymasterThe folder named “.data” is probably causing the problem since it has a dot in the folder name. Use the “Exclude wp-content Folders” tool. It is located here > BPS Pro > AutoRestore > Exclude wp-content Folders. Copy this folder path into an available text box > themes/themify-ultra/themify and click the Save Folder Exclude Rules button.

KeymasterI just tested adding a folder named .data under my themes folder and was able to add a single file exclude rule successfully.
Did you restore the file in Quarantine first before adding an exclude rule?
Copy the entire path into the “Exclude Folders|Files from being checked by AutoRestore” text box. Choose “Exclude an Individual File. Click the Exclude Folder|File button.
Example: /home/xxxxx/public_html/ait-pro.com/aitpro-blog/wp-content/themes/aitpro-bulletproof/.data/test.txt

ParticipantHmm, it seems I’ve made a mistake. BPS is showing no pages. I have done the following:
- Disabled all plugins.
- Checked .htaccess files in the root and in the wp-admin directory.
- Changed the .htaccess files in both directories to root.htaccess_old to see if it would work.
- I disabled a couple of security assets from WPMU, which include: Defender Security / Hustle / WPMU Dev Dashboard.
- I enabled debug mode in WordPress, which resulted in errors on almost all the WPMU plugins, but not on BPS.
The only thing I did last night was update my PHP version to the latest 8.4 and download the BPS update. My next goal is to download the newest version and upload it again via FTP. I need to determine why this is happening. Maybe replacing the program will do the trick. I’ll update you soon.
Ahh, I didn’t remove the file from the quarantine area! That is probably why it didn’t work.
Thanks for pointing that out to me.

KeymasterIf BPS pages are blank then you need to request a new Activation Key for the site. BPS Pro Setup menu > Activation page.

ParticipantUploading the full version again did not fix the issue. Let me give you a couple of images.

I do not see anything in the code inspector. I have removed all caching from the site, so I am unsure what may be preventing this code from displaying correctly. I switched to PHP v8.3 to test as well. I’m baffled!
I am changing my site to a headless WordPress site. Because of this, I’m not in a big hurry, but I have a lot of learning to do. I’m not too worried about the current site as I have it set to maintenance mode. I had to disable the ability for anyone to register because, even in maintenance mode, I still received a large number of spam registrations. I may leave it alone for right now, as the basics of the program are working, so I should still be secure.
If you have any ideas, it would be great; however, I need to focus on preparing everything for my move to Digital Ocean and Netlify.
Oh, thank you for letting me know about the new activation code. That is probably the problem.

ParticipantWell, I assumed I needed a new activation key, so I removed the old one. I selected the “Get Activation Key” to have a new one displayed, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

I think you have the img and code links turned off, I’m not sure.

KeymasterThe “Get Activation Key” tool in the Download area only works if you have requested an Activation Key from your website. Basically that tool is doing a database search on the ait-pro.com site for any/all of your Activation Keys that you requested.
Go to the BPS Pro Setup menu > Activation page.
BPS Pro Activation Steps:
1. Enter the BPS Pro Download-Request Key that was emailed to you when you purchased BPS Pro into the Save Download-Request Key text box and click the Save Download-Request Key button.
2. Click the Get Activation Key button to get your BPS Pro Activation Key. Your Activation Key will be emailed to your PayPal email address that you used to purchase BPS Pro with.
3. Copy and Paste the BPS Pro Activation Key that was emailed to your PayPal email address into the Save Activation Key text box and click the Save Activation Key button.AITpro Admin

ParticipantI don’t seem to be receiving the new key via email. Additionally, the download site remains empty when I use the ‘Get Activation Key’ tool. I followed your directions to the T. I have checked all folders, including the spam folder, but have not received an activation email from BPS. My email has not changed for PayPal it is my primary email address.
AITpro Admin
KeymasterI still don’t see an Activation Key request from you on my end. Try deactivating all other plugins and try to request a new Activation Key. Also been having automated email problems for 2 months now. I don’t know if WordPress itself is now doing that or my web host Mail server. I can manually email your Activation Key once I see a successful Activation Key request from your website.
AITpro Admin
KeymasterI just tested requesting a new Activation Key for my ait-pro.com domain and the Activation Key request was successful. So there isn’t a problem with my API server.

ParticipantFor some reason, I am not getting an email for the activation key. Here is the error I am receiving:
https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZjm4D5ZnIb7kJ9sSYkdJgundNV3FQFpij5y
I sent an email to you with the request key I am using.
AITpro Admin
KeymasterI just sent you a special activation key that works when something you have installed (plugin) or your web host is blocking communication to my API server.
Syxguns
ParticipantThank you, all is working correctly now.
