MemberI installed BPS free version to have a look at it. I got as far as replacing my .htaccess files. I decided I really didn’t know what I was doing (I’m new at WordPress) and so deactivated and deleted the plugin. But now I’m getting a 404 error now when I click onto the login page of my web site so I can’t login at all. I’m still logged in using a different browser, so can access my WP dashboard. But I really don’t know what to do to fix the login issue – can someone help me please??!

BPS setup steps:
1. Activate All BulletProof Modes.
2. Setup complete.BPS removal steps:
1. Deactivate BulletProof Modes
2. Deactivate and delete BPS on the WP Plugins page.Unable to login into your website:
1. Use FTP or your Web Host Control Panel File Manager and delete the .htaccess file in your website root folder and the .htaccess file in your wp-admin folder.
2. Log into your website and Activate all BulletProof Modes.MemberI have actually done all that – read the read me file before posting (should have said that in my first post sorry). But anyway I have tried running through all the steps again. It seems my login page has somehow been deleted from the web site altogether – not sure how that could have happened??
KeymasterBPS does not do something like that. Do you have the Better WP Security plugin installed? It does do something like that. Also check with your web host regarding this: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/global-brute-force-attack-on-wordpress-sites/. It is possible, but not likely, that your Host is blocking your WordPress login page to protect your website.

I had a few pages on my baseball website thast had Phishing errors. I the found and activated the Billetproof Security Free plugin for WordPress 4.2. There of my pages were removed from my WordPress Pages . When I deactivate the BPS the pages are again seen in Woedpress but indicate a Page not Found (404 error) when I go to view these pages.
What must I do? May I fix the pages, or must I completly rebuild them? If I can fix (or do other changes to ge the pages back) what must I do. Sorry, I am a bit new to WP and havernt learned it all yet. Im, building a kids baeball team/club website on my own. Any help would be great.

Keymaster@ Mike – Click the link below and look at the BulletProof Security Free Setup, Removal & General Troubleshooting Steps help section. Do Step 4 under htaccess Core htaccess Files Removal Steps – 4. Go to WordPress Settings >>> Permalinks and resave your Permalink Settings first and your website pages should be displayed normally. Then do the BPS Setup Steps again.
