Hi, I’m new with this, don’t know code at all.  My site got hacked.  I found some way to get back in, but with a different email address for my admin, which is not the one I desire to have as my proper admin.  In hindsight, I obviously had security gaps, now I know!  I changed passwords and upped my security, even upgraded my account so I could install security plug-ins, which the BPS clearly identified these 3 areas.  Is this something I can address with no understanding of coding or do I need professional help?  If it’s something I can actually fix myself, what do I do?

I have installed the BPS plugin after the fact of being hacked.  I got hacked first.  Can I use the BPS plugin to fix how I got hacked?

I received your email and should have checked your web host before responding.  Your website is hosted at wordpress.com hosting.  wordpress.com hosting already provides built-in website security > https://wordpress.com/pricing/?ref=domains-campaign-lp#lpc-pricing. So adding BPS would not add anymore website security protection for your website.  It sounds like someone figured out your website login password and did not actually hack your website using a hacking attack, code, etc.  I recommend that you contact wordpress.com support for assistance and also that you uninstall the BPS plugin since wordpress.com already comes with built-in website security.
