ParticipantARQ turned itself OFF for whatever reason. A Security Alert was also generated. Before simply turning it back ON, wanted to confirm if there was some other safety measure that I should perform first. TIA

KeymasterI need more information about the question you are asking. Go to your BPS Security Log and post the log entries relevant to when AutoRestore was turned Off.

Participant[AutoRestore Turned Off Cron Check: 20/02/2017 - 18:36] This Security Log entry is created when AutoRestore is turned Off on your website. To change or turn Off this setting go to the BPS Pro S-Monitor page, under Email Alerting & Log File Options change the ARQ: When AutoRestore|Quarantine is Turned Off option setting to whatever setting you would like to use instead. ParticipantBelieve that the cause may be due to the fact that I was previewing a new theme and my computer crashed. I therefore assume that it is safe to simply turn ON > ARQ. Wanted to simply confirm. Thanks.

KeymasterYour Security Log entries show that ARQ was already turned Off prior to updating a theme. So if you just turn ARQ On then your updated theme files will be quarantined. ARQ needs to be turned On in order for ARQ Automation to do things automatically: automatically turns ARQ Off, backs up files and automatically turns ARQ back On. If ARQ is turned Off then that means ARQ Automation is also turned Off. When in doubt always run the Setup Wizard again – the Setup Wizard automatically backs up all files and turns ARQ On.

ParticipantThanks. Ran the setup wizard to be on the safe side and all is well. 🙂
