Namecheap antivirus is spamming my mail with alerts about this file
    /bps-backup/logs/http_error_log.txt
if it’s important i’ll just filter the hosting emails for automatic deletion.
    is it?
where is it generated from the s-monitor!

    Thanks

The BPS Security Log (http_error_log.txt) file is very important.  The Security Log is used by the Plugin Firewall AutoPilot Mode cron to get and automatically create firewall whitelist rules.  The Security Log also does a few other things besides just logging blocked hackers and spammers.  See if your host would be willing to create a whitelist rule for all .txt files since .txt files cannot be used maliciously.  Or maybe they can create a whitelist rule just for the http_error_log.txt.

    Thanks for clarification,

will ask them to whitelist it. hopefully they can.

if you remember the other post about security log zip file, well they said they can’t, for some technical reason whitelist zip files.

but since i turned off the reporting as you instructed before the emails stopped.

    Thanks for your support.
