cannot exclude htaccess in Quarantine

    HI I was able to exclude all the other log files shown in Quarantine, but when i input this .htaccess exactly as copy and paste it says Not a valid file path

    Copy the path that you see in Quarantine for where the file “was” before it was quarantined.  Then restore the file. Then create an exclude rule.  A file has to actually exist at that file path location in order to create an exclude rule.

    I did that, please look at the screenshot I included, the htaccess shows in the root, not in a quarantine folder, all the other quarantine files showed their original position in the section, and I was able to easily exclude them, only the htaccess files showed an invalid path message. Thank you!!

    Did you copy/add the forward slash at the beginning of the file path?

    yes, I copies it directly and double checked, I even tried a few times.

    Maybe you deleted the file in the quarantine folder when you were deleting website folders and files?  Does the file exist here > /wp-content/bps-backup/quarantine/root-files/
