Keep getting strange PHP alerts and am somewhat curious why I should be getting a string of Japanese characters in my PHP log. Have recently had a very large amount of visits to my blog from Hong Kong ¿? Don’t know if I have been hacked by the Japanese or WTF.

Attaching my PHP error log. Hope the link works.

Those are failed SQL Injection attacks called “Japanese Keyword Hack” or “Japanese SEO Spam” that are being logged in the php error log.  Spammers/hackers use bots to attempt SQL injection attacks on websites that will create spam posts.  Unfortunately, php error logs capture the entire error including the Japanese characters.  Php error logs do not have any filtering capabilities.  So just ignore these types of php errors.
