Participanthello
i already use your plugin but i want to use it together with Wordfence as well. Is there a problem using them together ? Will wordfence be able to block login attempts while still having bulletproof security enabled ? Also , i presume this pluing as it does not use htaccess is ok to use with bulletproof , right ?

It is called Stealth Login Page Or, do you recommend any other plugin to hide/rename the wp-admin folder ?
Thank you

KeymasterBPS is compatible with Wordfence. I am not exactly sure what is in Wordfence, but the only area that has a known issue is that Wordfence will block BPS Pro activation key requests. BPS does not block anything in Wordfence and vice versa.
I have never tested the Stealth Login Page plugin so I do not have any idea if there are any issues/conflicts.
If BPS is blocking something then you will see that log entry logged in the BPS Security Log.
I do not recommend trying to hide anything at all. It is not an effective security measure against automated hacker bots. hacker bots will find your login page or whatever else they are looking for – you cannot hide from a bot. If you have login protection that locks the account after X failed login attempts then there is no need to try and hide anything. Does PayPal or your online bank hide their login page – No.

Participantthank you for your reply sir. i understand that hiding it might not help prevent hacks , but does it hurt ?
thank you
PS: i had some security issues on my site using some scanners. they showed some vulnerabilities . After installing bulletproof they all say good things 🙂 . Thank you for thatAITpro Admin
KeymasterNope, can’t hurt and might even fool some of the less sophisticated automated hacker bot scripts. At the very least it will probably decrease “junk bot” traffic to your site.

Participantthank you for your speedy answer sir, and thank you for your plugin
One last question , if it is possible to answer . Do you recommend the plugin from above to hide the login page or do you have another recommendation of another plugin that can hide the wp-admin ? I am ofcourse interested in one that works with your plugin because i want to use it it is a very good plugin . So i thought that “stealth login page” would work because it uses a redirect method and not .htaccess so that it will not overlap with bulletproof
Have a great day

KeymasterI will take a look at this plugin tomorrow and see what it does. I personally do not use any hiding methods, but do not want to say anything negative about someone else’s work/plugin. It may have value, but I just do not take that approach toward security methods. The most effective security method that I have found/use is an Action Approach – hacker X does bad action Y and Z is the result = Forbidden.

Participantthank you for your help

KeymasterThe Stealth Login Page plugin is doing a Query String login redirect very nicely and there are not any conflicts or issues between these plugins.

ParticipantIt seems this plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years… any chance this could be added into bps pro?
AITpro Admin
Keymaster@ Mike I – BPS Pro has Login Security & Monitoring and JTC Anti-Spam|Anti-Hacker plugin security features that protect the WP Login page. Since the WP Login page is already protected there is not any reason to try and “hide” the login page. Adding something like that would just be a gimmick.
