Email Question:
this cron job is blocked, how to make it whitelist?
[403 GET Request: October 24, 2021 - 10:48 pm] Pro CPM: 15.9 WP: 5.8 Event Code: BFHS - Blocked/Forbidden Hacker or Spammer Solution: N/A - Hacker/Spammer Blocked/Forbidden REMOTE_ADDR: 156.67.209.151 Host Name: srv15.niagahoster.com SERVER_PROTOCOL: HTTP/1.1 HTTP_CLIENT_IP: HTTP_FORWARDED: HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR: 94.237.2.41 HTTP_X_CLUSTER_CLIENT_IP: REQUEST_METHOD: GET HTTP_REFERER: REQUEST_URI: /wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron QUERY_STRING: doing_wp_cron HTTP_USER_AGENT: Wget/1.20.3 (linux-gnu)
AITpro AdminKeymasterAnswer:
That looks like a Bot crawling your site using wget and not a legitimate cron job. Have you setup any direct cron jobs in your hosting account from another host server > https://scamalytics.com/ip/156.67.209.151.
If this is a legitimate wget cron job that is being blocked then do the steps below to whitelist this.
1. Go to BPS Pro > Custom Code > Root Custom Code accordion tab/button.
2. Copy the modified Query String Exploits htaccess code below into this Custom Code text box: 12. CUSTOM CODE BPSQSE BPS QUERY STRING EXPLOITS.
Note: If you already have htaccess code in this Custom Code text box then comment out this nuisance rule by adding a # sign in front of that nuisance rule as shown below.
#RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} (havij|libwww-perl|python|nikto|curl|scan|winhttp|clshttp|loader) [NC,OR]
3. Click the Save Root Custom Code button.
4. Go to the BPS Pro Setup Wizard run the Pre-Installation Wizard and Setup Wizard.# BEGIN BPSQSE BPS QUERY STRING EXPLOITS # The libwww-perl User Agent is forbidden - Many bad bots use libwww-perl modules, but some good bots use it too. # Good sites such as W3C use it for their W3C-LinkChecker. # Use BPS Custom Code to add or remove user agents temporarily or permanently from the # User Agent filters directly below or to modify/edit/change any of the other security code rules below. #RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} (havij|libwww-perl|wget|python|nikto|curl|scan|java|winhttp|clshttp|loader) [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} (%0A|%0D|%27|%3C|%3E|%00) [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} (;|<|>|'|"|\)|\(|%0A|%0D|%22|%27|%28|%3C|%3E|%00).*(libwww-perl|wget|python|nikto|curl|scan|java|winhttp|HTTrack|clshttp|archiver|loader|email|harvest|extract|grab|miner) [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} (\?|\*|%2a)+(%20+|\\s+|%20+\\s+|\\s+%20+|\\s+%20+\\s+)(http|https)(:/|/) [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} etc/passwd [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} cgi-bin [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} (%0A|%0D|\\r|\\n) [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} owssvr\.dll [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} (%0A|%0D|%27|%3C|%3E|%00) [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} \.opendirviewer\.
