ParticipantDB Monitor Log – question about frequent log.
I have a website at http://webuildfreewebsites.com/ and as of a couple days or so ago, I keep getting emails from the DB Monitor Log. It’s not that I don’t want to receive them, but the issue is I’m not sure why tables are being updated (as the monitor is indicating) when nothing has been updated on the site.
Here’s what I see in the DB Monitor Log
[New DB Table Created - Cron Check Time July 3, 2014 - 8:53 am] New DB Table Created Name: xxxxxwp_wpmlqueue New DB Table Actual Create Time: 2014-07-03 12:51:19 DB Monitor Guide: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/database-monitor-dbm-guide/ [DB Monitor Log File Zip and Email Successful: July 3, 2014 - 8:53 am] Your DB Monitor Log file has been successfully zipped and emailed to you [New DB Table Created - Cron Check Time July 3, 2014 - 9:10 am] New DB Table Created Name: xxxxxwp_wpmlqueue New DB Table Actual Create Time: 2014-07-03 13:05:50 DB Monitor Guide: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/database-monitor-dbm-guide/ [DB Monitor Log File Zip and Email Successful: July 3, 2014 - 9:10 am] Your DB Monitor Log file has been successfully zipped and emailed to you
Question are …
1. What’s happening that is causing the tables to be created or changed?
2. Can I stop this from happening?
3. Unless this is an actual issue, I would prefer not to keep having this logged and emailed to me.What are your thoughts and suggestions?
GaryPS: I’m not getting this on all of my sites that use BPS Pro, .. just this one and I’m not sure why and was hoping you might be able to explain. Thanks!

ParticipantHi, This has been happening since the update to install this feature on all of my sites – I kind of ignored it until now as I wanted to look into it a bit more but I haven’t as yet found a reason (probably due to lack of looking for one to hard.

This occurs every four to five hours. Not sure of the next steps to take?

The root cause of the problem was that the BPS Pro Log timestamps were previously not synchronized to GMT time. This issue/problem was corrected in BPS Pro 9.1. Upgrading to BPS Pro 9.1 resolves this issue/problem.
Either upgrade BPS Pro from within your WordPress Dashboard if a BPS Pro upgrade notice is displayed or download the BPS Pro 9.1 zip file and install it using the BPS Pro Upload zip installer under the Setup >>> Upload Zip Install menu.
Tina Dubinsky
ParticipantHi, I have already upgraded to 9.1 but still have the issue. (upgraded when it became available)
AITpro Admin
KeymasterI just emailed you a BPS Pro 9.1 zip file. Install it using the BPS Pro Upload Zip Installer. This may or may not work, but it is worth a shot since it is quick and simple to do. Let me know if this works. If it does not work then I assume that there is something installed on your site (another plugin) that is causing this problem and will need to login to this site to find out which plugin that is.
Tina Dubinsky
ParticipantHi, just giving you an update – the install with the zip installer did not work, I’m still getting the error – currently deactivating plugins to find out which one is causing it. I only need to deactivate right not remove entirely? I just got another email with the same error message and only have these plugins activated now aside from BPS Pro:
- Akismet
- Jetpack
- Regenerate thumbnails
- WordPress SEO
So now going to deactivate another two from above and see what happens at the next time period. Just want to check with you that I would only need to deactivate and not remove to narrow it down?
AITpro Admin
KeymasterActually try this next.
Deactivate and delete the BPS Pro plugin.
Reinstall BPS Pro using the WordPress upload zip installer, Activate BPS Pro on the Activation page and run the Setup Wizards.
If the problem is still occurring after doing these things above then send me an Admin login to this site.Gary M. Gordon

First, I apologize if my question seems ignorant in any manner, but I keep getting emails regarding the Database Monitor Log. I just opened up a zip that was emailed to me and here’s what I see:BPS PRO DB MONITOR LOG ====================== ====================== [New DB Table Created - Cron Check Time August 11, 2014 - 8:57 am] New DB Table Created Name: c253wp_bpspro_db_backup New DB Table Actual Create Time: 2014-06-19 11:26:32 DB Monitor Guide: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/database-monitor-dbm-guide/ [New DB Table Created - Cron Check Time August 11, 2014 - 8:57 am] New DB Table Created Name: c253wp_bpspro_dbm_monitor New DB Table Actual Create Time: 2014-06-19 11:26:33 DB Monitor Guide: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/database-monitor-dbm-guide/ [DB Monitor Log File Zip and Email Successful: August 11, 2014 - 8:57 am] Your DB Monitor Log file has been successfully zipped and emailed to you [New DB Table Created - Cron Check Time September 5, 2014 - 7:06 am] New DB Table Created Name: c253wp_comments New DB Table Actual Create Time: 2014-09-05 07:45:30 DB Monitor Guide: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/database-monitor-dbm-guide/ [DB Monitor Log File Zip and Email Successful: September 5, 2014 - 7:06 am] Your DB Monitor Log file has been successfully zipped and emailed to you [New DB Table Created - Cron Check Time September 5, 2014 - 7:26 am] New DB Table Created Name: c253wp_comments New DB Table Actual Create Time: 2014-09-05 07:45:30 DB Monitor Guide: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/database-monitor-dbm-guide/ [DB Monitor Log File Zip and Email Successful: September 5, 2014 - 7:26 am] Your DB Monitor Log file has been successfully zipped and emailed to you [New DB Table Created - Cron Check Time September 5, 2014 - 7:43 am] New DB Table Created Name: c253wp_comments New DB Table Actual Create Time: 2014-09-05 07:45:30 DB Monitor Guide: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/database-monitor-dbm-guide/
I haven’t made any changes to the Database Monitor .. and I’m just curious if I should, or if I shouldn’t. I don’t necessarily want to turn it off .. but it drives me crazy when I keep seeing all the emails that it seems to generate (since I have BPS Pro installed on more than 15 sites.)
I’m just curious .. if you wouldn’t mind if I ask you .. how should I set things up in the DB Monitor .. so the system won’t show me “false positives” meaning .. changes that may be made that I shouldn’t have to worry about .. vs .. changes made to tables that “I should” take a look at which might indicate a problem or that something have have been hacked, etc.
Please let me know what you think I should do .. in order to best set things up.

KeymasterThe xxxx_comments database table DB Monitor log entries look like some kind of problem is occurring on this site. Normally a database table will only be created once and you would only get 1 log entry when a new database table is created. That DB Monitor check looks at your DB Monitor log timestamp to do certain things so if there is a problem with the GMT synchronization then you would see repeated New Table Created log entries.
Go to the DB Monitor Log tab page and click the Reset Last Modified Time in DB button to resynchronize your DB Monitor Log timestamp to GMT time. Normally this is done automatically, but maybe some error occurred somewhere.

ParticipantHello – I know its been six months but just wanted to let you know my resolution. I still had the issue even after re installing and activating but I didn’t want to waste your time so I turned the feature off as I had other issues with this web host and was looking to move. I finally did move this week and completed the migration of my domains and installation and reactivation of BPS pro today and this particular issue has resolved. My old host was using cloud hosting and I was constantly finding my error log paths changing without notice as they would change the server I was on. No more an issue. Thanks for your patience and help.

Hi,I keep getting repeated DB Monitor emails regarding db table changes. It looks like all my db tables were recreated at 9:00 PM for some reason. I believe everything is OK, possibly related to my host? Not sure. The real problem is I keep getting these emails every 15 minutes. I have reset the timestamp, but it does not stop the emails. The list in the log is the same one every time. So, these tables are not undergoing any additional changes. How do I stop the emails?
Thanks,
Jeff
Jeff C
ParticipantWell, looks like it resolved itself. I have not received any more emails since the latest reset of the time on the DB Monitor page. I will post back if I get more emails that I cannot stop. Thanks.
