Hello, I wanted to bring this to your attention as so many people use elementor these days, I could not edit one of my websites in Elementor and so I sent a ticket to Elementor, they determined that a firewall was blocking access to files that were on my server so referred me to hosting support. The strangest thing is that this is the only website where I had this problem, I had already uninstalled all plugins except Elementor and Elementor Pro in desperation to be able to make a necessary edit to this site. Now that I know this can be problamatic, I am relieved, but can I avoid this situation?
Hosting found the problem, they said:
./wp-content/plugins/.htaccess
All of the rules located in this file are generated by:
BULLETPROOF PRO PLUGIN FIREWALL
Which is conflicting with the request made by elementor plugin, which includes request ending with “ver=x.x.x” this seems to not pass the rule of the .htaccess.
Our “solution” has not been to fix this, but to simply eliminate all rule in that .htacces by renaming the file.
