Fatal error with BPS-memory

I read some of the posts on memory size, can you recommend the best memory size to avoid issues with the plugin (shared server)

Also this one appears to be with bulletproof , I had entered a hidden folder url to ignore I believe in this website, but now wordpress disables the bulletproof plugin in restore mode so i cant see anything. I did up the memory to 512 but still cannot activate bulletproof to troubleshoot.

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 287 of the file
/wp-content/plugins/bulletproof-security/includes/hidden-plugin-folders-cron.php.
Error message: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried
to allocate 231913656 bytes)

Post your Hidden Plugin Folders|Files Cron (HPF) ignore rules so I can take a look at them.

Are you using the correct syntax > Add Ignore rules using plugin folder names or file names. Use a comma and a space between folder and/or file names. Example Ignore Rules: plugin-folder-name, example-file-name.php

This option is for adding ignore rules for Hidden or Empty Plugin Folders Detected by BPS or Non-standard WP files detected by BPS in your /plugins/ folder.
