htaccess file not found in wp-admin

hi,

I have installed BPS Pro, and in my WP-Admin screen, it shows the following error message:

BPS Pro Alert! An htaccess file was NOT found in your wp-admin folder. Go to the and Security Modes page click the wp-admin Folder BulletProof Mode Activate button

I have gone to the Security Modes page and clicked Activate under the title:

wp-admin Folder BulletProof Mode (WBM)

WBM Status: Deactivated
However the status remains “Deactivated” and still see the error message as shown above.

Is there anything else I can check or try to fix this problem?

Try running the Pre-Installation and Setup Wizard again. Possible causes for this problem could be: Your web host does not allow a wp-admin htaccess file (Go Daddy Managed WordPress Hosting does not allow a wp-admin htaccess file). Mod Security could be enabled in your host control panel and it is interfering with the BPS Forms (wp-admin Activate Form).
