    hmm that is interesting.  What that would mean then is this issue is not related to BPS .htaccess files or code.  What happens when you do these troubleshooting steps:
    1. On the Security Modes page, click the Root Folder BulletProof Mode Deactivate button.
    2. On the Security Modes page, click the wp-admin Folder BulletProof Mode Deactivate button.
    Note: BPS logs all site errors that occur whether they are related to or caused by BPS or not.

    I deactivated BPS, per your instructions. No change on the flash ads, and in the error logging was this gem

    probably need to turn BPS back on now. how do I do that?

    That may or may not be the real Google Bot.  That is very easy to fake.  Or some other site has screwed up URL’s pointing to your site.  There are a few Stats sites that scrape sites in bulk and the outgoing URL’s are out of whack.  😉  Creates lots of 404 errors for us to deal with monthly.

    Ok you have taken the BPS plugin out of the equation as the cause of the problem so now what you want to do is either deactivate each of your plugins one by one and test or deactivate all your plugins except for AdSpeed and test.  If the problem is still occurring then temporarily switch your Theme to a WordPress Theme (2013, 2014) and test.
