The Link Cloaking Plugin has its own .htaccess code that can be added to BPS Custom Code to combine the code into your Root .htaccess file. Activating the Link Cloaking Plugin automatically creates its .htaccess code in your root .htaccess file. If your Root .htaccess file is locked then unlock it before activating the Link Cloaking Plugin.
1. Activate the Link Cloaking plugin to get the .htaccess code that it creates in your Root .htaccess file.
2. Go to the htaccess File Editor page >>> click on the Your Current Root htaccess File tab, scroll down in the Root .htaccess file and copy the Link Cloaking plugin’s .htaccess code: # Link Cloaker Plugin BEGIN to # Link Cloaker Plugin ENDS.
3. Go to BPS Custom Code and paste the Link Cloaking Plugin’s htaccess code to this BPS Root Custom Code text box: CUSTOM CODE BOTTOM HOTLINKING/FORBID COMMENT SPAMMERS/BLOCK BOTS/BLOCK IP/REDIRECT CODE: Add miscellaneous code here
4. Click the Save Root Custom Code button.
5. Go to the BPS Security Modes page and click the Root Folder BulletProof Mode Activate button.
