LiteSpeed Cache- Cannot modify header information – headers already sent in vary.cls.php on line 735

litespeed-cache

was setup and running correctly prior to installing BPS Pro. Now the following warning is entered in the error log once per minute:

[13-Nov-2022 02:53:38 UTC] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent in /home/<user>/<site>/wp-content/plugins/litespeed-cache/src/vary.cls.php on line 735

The site seems to be functioning fine, but this will obviously fill the logs very quickly. Is there a way to disable or whitelist this warning?

If you have WP_DEBUG turned on in your wp-config.php file then turn it off.  If that is not the cause of the php error then purge all LiteSpeed cache.  If that does not work then deactivate and activate LiteSpeed cache.

This is a known php error that is occurring with LiteSpeed lately.  The php error is not related to or caused by BPS.  Someone in the LiteSpeed plugin forum has reported this php error > https://wordpress.org/support/topic/warning-cannot-modify-header-information-headers-already-sent-33/.  The LiteSpeed plugin author will need to provide a fix for this.
