Oudated/obsolete info deleted – See BPS Pro XTF

BPS Pro Xternal Tools (XTF) are intended to be used when you are unable to login to your website to fix an issue/problem. You can turn Off BPS Pro features using the XTF Form options without having to be logged into your website.

In case that it’s not only me who is so (is there another word for) stupid When I read “To use this stand alone script download it from this BulletProof Security Pro plugin folder…”, I searched for the mentioned php-file everywhere, but not in my installation. So may be it’s better to make it as much as possible clear, you might want to add to your decription that the stand alone script is found in the subdir of one’s own wordpress / BPS installation.

Hello,

I made a big boo boo, and put 200 yrs for lockout period on my admin account, and now have no way to get into the account since a hacker caused a lockout. How to unlock the wordpress account? I do have FTP, Cpanel, and SQL access

Here are some things you can do to protect against hackerbots and spambots locking out your Admin login accounts & blocking Brute Force Login attacks in general. Enable / Turn On JTC Anti-Spam / Anti-Hacker: Should pretty much eliminate all hackerbot and spambot login attempts/attacks and is probably all that you need to do.
