    Just got this email from namecheap.

    should i be concerned?

    Nothing to worry about.  You can disregard the email from namecheap.  The BPS Security Log logs hacking attempts and some things that are logged in the Security Log file (and the zipped Security Log files) are falsely detected as malicious by web host scanners.
