Very cool idea, but at this point I think we have already added too many features. We probably should have only focused on the simpler features, which you can find in a lot of other security plugins, but went all out instead. Kind of backfired on us a bit because a lot of folks get intimidated by all the features in BPS Pro even though every feature is automated/self-configuring for the most part. Other security plugins that focused more on their image, slick look, presentation, simpler and less features/security protection seem to be doing much better overall than BPS and BPS Pro. We shot for an unbeatable WordPress website security plugin that was packed with security features that don’t exist in any other WP security plugins and found that most folks prefer something extremely simplified that looks cool vs maximum website security protection – Lesson learned. 😉
