Premise Plugin – flush_rewrite_rules WordPress function

Email Question:

What would cause a plugin to trigger BPS to give me a warning that my site is not protected and there is a problem with the .htaccess file? Every time I try to use the Premise plugin, I get that error — even just opening up a landing page I am working on using that plugin. If I recreate the .htaccess file and resecure my site it is fine as long as I don’t use Premise. Premise does not know of any issues and the sent me to you.

I am not sure what Server API HostGator uses, so I guessed.

This is a very common issue/problem with a lot of plugins.  The cause of the issue/problem is that the Premise plugin is using the WordPress flush_rewrite_rules function in their plugin.  Please see this Forum Topic link below for the cause and solution for this issue/problem.
