Too funny my friend. Point 7 is the core foundation of what BPS is based on. The root htaccess file protects the site with an arsenal of security filters that are much more comprehensive and sophisticated then the few skimpy rules posted in that topic. In all fairness that topic is 4-5 years old. Checking for or doing anything with excessively long Query strings is both foolish and futile so I have never considered created any sort of rule that looks at the length of a URI/Query String. 😉
