As of BPS Pro 9.6 the Base64 Decoder / Encoder Pro-Tools can be deleted individually if a Host scanner or other scanner is seeing these Pro-Tools as malicious or infected files.  There is a delete button on the Online Base64 Decoder tool page:  Click the Delete the Online Base64 Decoder Tool button to delete this tool permanently.  There is a delete button on the Offline Base64 Decoder/Encoder tool page:  Click the Delete the Online Base64 Decoder Tool button to delete this tool permanently.  By clicking these delete buttons you are also saving a BPS Pro database option that will automatically delete these files / tools again when you upgrade BPS Pro.  In other words, deleting these files / tools is a permanent action.

    Pro-Tools Online Base64 Decoder & Offline Base64 Decode/Encode Core Changes:

These 2 Pro-Tools are now separate pages conditional loaded with require that can be deleted individually in cases where a Host Scanner or other Scanner is incorrectly detecting the legitimate code in these 2 Pro-Tools as malicious code. The recommended action is to whitelist these 2 Pro-Tools and not delete them, but in cases where that is not possible then these 2 Pro-Tools can be deleted individually without having to delete the entire Pro-Tools page, which means that the other 14 Pro-Tools will still be available and usable.

    Additional Notes:
    clamscan:
The clamscan scanner will automatically block ports when suspected malicious code or files are found on a website.

Manual file deletion prior to BPS Pro installation:
The b64-offline-decoder.php and b64-online-decoder.php files can be deleted from the bulletproof-security.zip file before installing the bulletproof-security.zip file on a website by using the 7-Zip application File Manager. A message will be displayed on the Base64 Decoder / Encoder Pro-Tools pages that the tools have been deleted. The Delete buttons still need to be clicked in order to save the BPS Pro database option so that all future upgrades of BPS Pro will automatically delete the Base64 Decoder / Encoder Pro-Tools.

    Restoring the Base64 Decoder/Encoder Pro-Tools:
If someone wants to get the B64 Decoder/Encoder Pro-Tools tools back in the future then they will need to do these steps:
Delete this BPS Pro DB option from the WordPress options database table: bulletproof_security_options_b64_tools
Reinstall the BPS Pro zip file using the BPS Pro Upload Zip installer or manually upload the 2 files below to the /bulletproof-security/admin/tools/ folder.
    b64-offline-decoder.php
    b64-online-decoder.php
