updraft backup scan won't complete with bps pro activated

None of my GoDaddy-hosted sites will complete Updraft backup scans when BPS Pro is activated. The backup scans work fine when I completely remove BPS Pro. Any other scanning/backup issues I’ve had, I’ve typically gotten to work by adding updraft as an exclude in BPS Pro… that doesn’t seem to work here. Any other ideas?
