    Hello,

since the last upgrade a registered user can not login anymore.

With wp debug true the following errors appear on the login screen:
Notice: Undefined index: bps_ace_rememberme_disable in /home/www/web167/html/directory/wp-content/plugins/bulletproof-security/includes/login-security.php on line 1189
If I disable Login security the error remains. By deactivating the complete BPS pro plugin, users can login again.

Can you help me with that?

    Thanks

    Walter

We are aware of a problem with BPS WordPress Authentication Cookie Expiration (ACE) and Custom User Roles. The problem is that we forgot to pre-save ACE DB options during the BPS upgrade since that is now required for the new BPS Pro 12.5/BPS .54.2 ACE Custom User Roles option.
Are you using Custom User Roles for your users?
Do you have BPS ACE turned On?
Solution: Either resave your ACE options or turn ACE Off.

Thanks for the fast reply. Yes, using custom roles. When a user has a custom role the login did not work. Setting the user to “subscriber” or any other standard role, the login worked.

Using ACE as well. Turning ACE off was the solution.

    Thanks a lot

    Walter
