Turning off BPS Pro ARQ Automation can actually cause WP Core files to be quarantined. So you want to keep ARQ turned on when updating WP or at any/all other times, which allows ARQ Automation to handle backing up any new WP Core files automatically. WP Major automatic updates can sometimes be problematic depending on which WP Core files are being updated. BPS Pro uses some of the primary WP Core installer functions, etc. and there can be a timing issue during WP Major updates. ie BPS Pro is trying to use some on the primary WP Core installer functions, etc. when WP is using them first and BPS Pro is also trying to access them via Filters and Actions and WP does what it needs to do first of course. 😉
