Hi I got uptime robot notices that two of my sites were down, totally white, font and back-end. I logged into the server and saw that the wp-config and htaccess were totally blank, There was no way to autorestore because the sites were inaccessible, I looked in file manager in bps-backup, autorestore and quarantine and the files were not in there, luckily I had a complete cpanel backup which I had to unzip to upload those 4 files. Please explain why this happened , how I can prevent? Thank you ! I love the idea of being bulletproof, but this was a couple of hours of work for me this morning to figure out what happened and how to fix.
