    Nope these are not related, but you can turn off the F-Lock file checks for the DR and GWIOD file checks.  DR and GWIOD file checks are only for folks who have a special type of WordPress installation (Giving WordPress Its Own Directory).  I think the issue has something to do with mod_security, which is enabled on your particular Host.  Will post back here and contact you directly once I have had a chance to talk to Brian again.  Thanks.

    Resolution:

    It appears that the fancier coding in the uploads .htaccess file is problematic for some Web Hosts so the new uploads .htaccess code has been “dumbed down” to ensure that it works perfectly on ALL Hosts/Servers/Websites.
