Getting this error when trying to install BPS, when trying to activate bulletproof mode:

Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: Operation not permitted in /home/site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bulletproof-security/admin/options.php on line 124

Warning: copy(/home/site/public_html//.htaccess) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bulletproof-security/admin/options.php on line 126

what can i do about this?

What is Server API type?  You will find this information on the B-Core System Info page.  Post your Server API in your reply.

I’m getting the same error. I’ve done this numerous times to different websites on the same server, but I never got this error before.
    Can we get some help?

Adam had 30 different sites and 29 of them were on another web host.  The 1 particular site where BPS Pro was not working was a customer’s site that was on a web host that is not compatible with BPS Pro due to custom Server configurations done on that Host’s Servers – that Host is Verio.  There are 2 Hosting Companies (out of 1,000’s) that BPS Pro will not work on >>> http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/read-me-first-pro/#incompatible-hosts

Please post this information below that you will find on the BPS System Info tab page and also post your Web Host name.  Thanks.
