Great!  Thanks for confirming that everything is working.  I believe the timeout in the Pre-Installation Wizard has to do with the cURL Scanner.  We have seen this on a few other sites/Hosts and are looking into the best way to handle this.  Hopefully we do not have to add a 3rd Wizard button like “cURL Scanner Wizard”.  😉

From time to time you may see php errors with MySQL lost connection or other similar MySQL errors.  Those happen intermittently and is considered normal.  What is not normal is when php errors are occurring repeatedly and/or constantly.
