PHP Warning: fileperms(): stat failed for .htaccess

Hello –

I’m using PHP version 7.4, WordPress 5.9.3 and BPS Pro 16.5. Whenever I access the File|Folder Lock page in BPS Pro, I get the following PHP warnings:

PHP Warning: fileperms(): stat failed for /home/xxxxxxxxxx/.htaccess in /home/xxxxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bulletproof-security/admin/lock/flock.php on line 330
PHP Warning: fileperms(): stat failed for /home/xxxxxxxxxx/index.php in /home/xxxxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bulletproof-security/admin/lock/flock.php on line 359

This seems similar to this issue reported many years ago.

The File Lock feature is obsolete.  Do the steps below to unlock files and to turn it off.

Set the File Lock Override option to > File Lock Override On.
Click the Save Override Option button.
Change all file options to > CGI|Unlock {filename}
Click the Save Options button.
Change all file options to > Checking & Alerts Off.
Click the Save Options button.
Set the File Lock Override option to > File Lock Override Off.
Click the Save Override Option button.
