Preventing Hot-Linking and SSL Question

Hello,

I’ve just done the setup for my BPS Pro. I have 2 questions which I need urgent answers.

1) First one is regarding image hot-linking. Could you please show which code and where to paste on the .htaccess section in order to block people hot-linking from my site.

2) My 2nd question is regarding SSL. You see I bought an SSL certificate 2 days ago but there are some issues with some files, and the green padlock is not showing on the browser. There’s a code that I need to paste in the .htaccess file. Could you tell me where in the .htaccess file such codes are pasted.
