Yikes that is a bit scary. No wonder I did not find anything in any Google searches since this is not a standard or normal thing. Ok so what that means then is the ASCII encrypted control characters could have potentially been used as some kind of Session Keylogger. The file did not have the capability to do anything like transmitting data so my guess is that it was just one hacker file used in combination with other hacker files that would be capable of capturing your WordPress login when you typed it into your login form. Or possibly it could have been cached to someone’s computer when they visited your website. If it was a keylogger file then it would be the keymap file and then there would need to be a logging file and finally a file that transmits that log file data.
