    Hi- overnight my server support team had to disable all plugins to resolve an issue unrelated to BPS.  In the process, BPS was updated to the latest version and re-activated.  Jetpack statistics are no longer working, and I receive the following error that I believe is related to our xmlrpc code: Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible
    Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 403]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: http://jetpack.com/support/”

    This is the current custom htaccess code.  Is there a newer version of this?

    <FilesMatch "^(xmlrpc\.php|wp-trackback\.php)">
    Order Deny,Allow
    # Whitelist Jetpack/ Automattic CIDR IP Address Blocks
    order deny,allow
    deny from all
    Allow from 192.0.64.0/18
    Allow from 209.15.0.0/16
    Allow from 66.155.0.0/17
    </FilesMatch>

    @ carsafety – Yep, there is new XML-RPC protection code specifically for the Jetpack plugin:  http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/wordpress-xml-rpc-ddos-protection-protect-xmlrpc-php-block-xmlrpc-php-forbid-xmlrpc-php/

    @ adam tracksler – Do you have WP_DEBUG turned on?  If so, turn off debugging.  We are not seeing these errors and no one else is reporting these errors so try reinstalling BPS Pro using the BPS Pro upload Zip installer.

    How to block @pjbals.co.pl follow spam mails from being sent. Receiving a slew of emails with new subscription updates requests. Have Email Subscribers plug-in installed and none of the new subscriptions appear on my WordPress follow list, however, I am receiving them in my email account. Is there any way to block this type of spam with BPS Pro ? TIA.

    @ AbZu – If the spam emails are originating from the Email Subscribers plugin then you would need to contact the Email Subscribers plugin author to see if that is possible to do.  Example:  Maybe that plugin has a setting to not allow certain emails?

    None of the emails that I receive with @pjbals.co.pl are added to my Email Subscribers list. I only receive an email notification ¿? No option in the plug-in to blacklist.

    So are you saying you think BPS Pro may be causing this problem?  If so, do the BPS Pro Troubleshooting steps here to confirm or eliminate that BPS Pro is causing this issue/problem:  http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/read-me-first-pro/#bps-pro-general-troubleshooting  Check your BPS Security Log and post any Security Log entries (if you see any) for the Email Subscribers plugin.

    @ AbZu – That is your php error log and not your BPS Security Log.  You can disregard any of those BPS php errors since they are insignificant and are not causing any sort of issues/problems.  The “WordPress database error Lost connection” php errors just mean that your server temporarily hiccuped/lost connection.  You can also disregard those php errors.  Note:  If you have WP_DEBUG turned On in your wp-config.php file then turn it Off.  WP_DEBUG should only be used during debugging and not left On permanently or your website will experience serious performance problems.

    Thanks for the WP_DEBUG nfo. It may explain certain 405 errors.
    wp-config.php file: define('WP_DEBUG', false);

    The latest nfo  (<time datetime=”2016-06-22T11:58:58+00:00″> Jun 22, 2016, 1:58 PM) </time>concerning  @pjbals.co.pl

    Emails from that domain have already been blocked from mass-following any more WordPress.com sites.

    Thanks everyone who reported this.

    Some of you might still get notifications from pending follows that were started before we were able to block this, should those people click the confirmation link in the subscription emails. We don’t have a way to prevent that, but new follows should not be possible anymore for these users.

    Hi

    After update. Do I need to do anything? Restart something.. or..?

    @ Kimse – BPS will tell you if something needs to be done, otherwise no news means good news and nothing is required by you.  During BPS upgrades any new options/features/settings/etc are automatically saved/setup/configured/etc.
